my projects

Kerb events | RHS | Hampton Court Palace

This summer, I had the immense privilege of project managing one of Kerb Events’ most ambitious productions, their flagship showcase at the Royal Horticultural Society’s annual Garden Festival at Hampton Court Palace. As one of the on-site leads, I was at the helm of a high-stakes operation across the palace’s historic grounds, overseeing the seamless coordination of 22 food traders and 10 bars, all while catering to tens of thousands of guests each day.

My role began in the late-stage planning phase, quickly transitioning into full-scale execution. From orchestrating trader onboarding to overseeing bar builds, site delivery schedules, and supplier logistics, I ensured that every moving part operated in harmony. Once live, I directed daily operations: managing a full bar team, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols, maintaining P&L oversight, troubleshooting tech outages, and keeping all trader needs met with swift, solution-focused leadership.

It was a juggling act of scale and precision, managing back-of-house operations, overseeing production builds, and coordinating the final de-rig, all while upholding the integrity of the royal grounds and delivering a first-class experience. This was not just a project; it was a statement of what’s possible when high-level logistics, hospitality expertise, and creativity come together.

This production stands as a proud milestone, not only for me personally, but as a defining showcase of Kerb’s capacity to deliver large-scale, high-touch events with precision and excellence.

As the co-founder of AfroBeach, I played a pivotal role in transforming a vibrant club night into one of London’s most anticipated summer events. What began as a residency in some of the city’s top clubs evolved into a mid-scale festival experience, hosted for four consecutive years (2016-2019) at two official Olympic venues, Beach East at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Lee Valley White Water Centre.

Vibes. Culture. Escape

Building and scaling AfroBeach gave me a hands-on crash course in large-scale event and festival management. Navigating the complexities of dry-hire venues, I honed my expertise in council and licensing negotiations, detailed logistical planning, and stringent health and safety procedures. I managed on-site security, staffing, full bar erection and service, sound and staging production, and food vendor coordination, all while curating a high-energy, immersive experience.

Additionally, I was responsible for drafting unique vendor and supplier contracts tailored to the needs of a large-scale outdoor event. These agreements covered everything from food and beverage suppliers to entertainment, security, and production teams, ensuring clear expectations, compliance, and seamless event execution.

Previously hailed by Timeout London and Eventbrite as one of London's top monthly events, our original networking concept, is built on 'Social Skydiving’ - the art of talking to strangers, allowing Londoners from all walks of life to connect.

The FriendZone event is all about changing the negative connotation of getting ‘friend-zoned’. and making genuine connections. Attendees have the chance to play games, mingle, and revive the lost art of talking to people.

Cocktail Gift Boxes

Crafted. EXPERIENTIAL. DELICIOUS

In 2021 I created a series of purchasable Cocktail Boxes under my brand Set The Bar (a mobile bartending agency)

My team of expert mixologists and I poured hours of testing, tasting, and consideration into choosing these unique flavours and combinations. I spent countless hours researching the market to understand price points, market trends, design, packaging, branding and so much more to bring my vision to life.

In 2022 Journalist, wine, and cocktail expert Aleesha Hansel hand-selected our original recipe Gin-based cocktail, 'Sainte Peppercorn' to showcase the perfect Valentine’s Day tipple on her segment on ITV’s ‘Love Your Weekend’ hosted by Alan Titchmarsh

“We really enjoyed the kit, I was so impressed with how good the cocktails were - absolutely delicious and well balanced! Having tried quite a few premium boxes and subscribing to a monthly craft gin club box, these are far better!”

— Gemma Wardle ( A Fat Girl's Food Guide)

“I loved the fact that you are getting a totally original recipe. They have been well thought out with beautiful presentation and fresh ingredients, something that not many other cocktail boxes offer. I loved the extra touches that came with it - chocolates, dried fruit, eco-friendly straws, etc., but especially the Spotify playlist to enjoy whilst making and drinking these treats! These boxes are a wonderful gift idea, and I shall be ordering many more!!”

— Claudine John

“Was really impressed by this box. I’ve tried other cocktail boxes in the past but this is by far the best one. The contents are definitely worth the money and also tasted super lush. I’m looking forward to purchasing again in the future.”
